Well, speaking of "a lot", how about two pairs of anagrams derived from it? Each of them has a different meaning:
alto: Italian for "high"
alto: Spanish for "stop"
lato: Italian for "side"
lato: Spanish for "broad"
And, as an entirely unrelated marginal note: Spamusement's current subtitle * It's not dead, it's restin'! * is derived from Monty Python's Dead Parrot Sketch.
